Karen Hagen - Fitness Coach

Karen is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor with Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association, with designations in Older Adult, Portable Equipment, TRX, Pure Strength and more. She has been actively instructing in the fitness industry for 10 years including Bootcamp, HIIT, Corporate Fitness and Older Adult.


The program runs from May 1-June 30, 2021 - and we will re-assess after this to determine "in-class" or further "virtual" options.


$10 /week for Energy to Burn ($5 / class) - we need 10 people to break even

$8 / week for Ageless Energy ($4 / class) - we need 12.5 people to break even


Class Descriptions:

Energy to Burn is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Energy to Burn is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) using short bursts of activity to spike the metabolism and keep it running at an accelerated rate, an added bonus is that it keeps the workouts fresh and engaging.

HIIT is ideal for weight loss and muscle tone as it focuses on charging up the metabolism and increasing lean muscle. And with the higher metabolism, the body burns more fat and enjoys higher energy levels throughout the day.

Ageless Energy

Ageless Energy is a no to low impact fitness class, geared to the over 55 age group, who are looking for a gentler but challenging workout.

We will focus on range of motion, strength and flexibility. We will be moving and working on getting and staying fit, as well as toning and strengthening.
